However, we are not a drag racing club. Our cars need to go around corners and to do that quickly the "setup" of the car is important.
This section is about car setup and providing resources that you might find useful for both beginners and advanced racers.
Resources Available
General
There is a huge amount of setup information available on the Internet. The challenge is sifting the good information from the uninformed opinion.
Google or your favourite search engine can be your best friend when looking to troubleshoot an issue.
There is an entire industry surrounding RC cars and a large number of companies that make their living from selling their products to enthusiasts. These companies sometimes have setup tips on their sites.
You Tube
Go to www.youtube.com and search for "solder deans plug" for an example of a useful video tutorial.
Forums
Forums are an excellent source of information. Refer to our
links section for several excellent forums (although the links provided are to the For Sale sections each forum also has sections for technical discussions).
Car Manufacturers
Each car manufacturer will usually have a section of their web site which shows "setup sheets" for different track conditions. Our
links section contains links to a number of manufacturers.

Of course you need to pick your time - don't ask that detailed question while the person is trying to get their car ready for the next race!
